Your next ride starts in San Candido

Along the Drava towards Lienz

The San Candido–Lienz connection is one of the area’s well-known cycle outings. Pick a suitable stage and allow time for breaks. If returning by train, check timetables, bicycle transport and any reservation requirements.

Through Val Pusteria or towards Dobbiaco

Valley cycle routes let you plan a flexible day. A shorter ride towards Dobbiaco leaves room for a break; longer routes continue through Val Pusteria. Consider the full distance, including the way back.

More demanding mountain rides

Routes into side valleys and higher terrain need greater fitness and bike-handling skills. Even with an e-bike, surface, gradients and weather matter. Use current route descriptions and ride only where cycling is permitted.

Before you start pedalling

Check your bike, brakes, helmet and e-bike charge. Choose a route that suits everyone in the group, considering weather and closures.

Rental, bike drop-off and train transport have their own conditions. Arrange these directly with the provider; bicycle transport is not automatically included in the guest pass.
